Escape Velocity Adventures is operated by Daniel Jansen, a Portland-area native and world traveler.

I have worked in the travel industry for over 5 years. I am a jack-of-all-trades kind of person, with 3 years of experience in Geographic Information Systems and land use planning as well. I have lived abroad for a total of 3 years in China and New Zealand. I’ve currently checked off over 20 countries in my destination checklist.
